Laporta: Raphinha wants to join, Barcelona
Barcelona president Joan, Laporta says the club are in talks with Leeds over, the potential signing of Raphinha, and added the winger wants to move, to the Nou Camp.
Chelsea are keen on signing the Brazil, international this summer, but speaking, at an event in honour of Johan Cruyff this weekend, Laporta said:, “We have spoken with Leeds about Raphinha and t,here is an open line of communication.
“Other clubs are interested in, the player, but we know that he wants to come, to Barca.”
Laporta also said that Barcelona are, still in talks with Ousmane Dembele – whose c ontract expired at the end of last month – over a new deal.
“Agreeing a contract with Dembele w,ould not mean another player cannot be signed,”, Laporta said.
“We really like him and he p,layed, very well during the second half of the, season, and Xavi is happy with him.
“It’s a financial discussion, both, parties need to agree. We are, relaxed about it, we have a good relationship with the, player and the lines of communication with the agents, are open.
“The player will remain with, the club if he accepts the financial terms we, offered him.
